Annika de Groot's "Starry starry night ornament"

Salve a tutte!

Hello everybody! I am inclined to disappear sometimes, but I never give up! Here's another Christmas present (Good Grief, we're at the end of August) I made last year, always taken from the beautiful book by Annika de Groot. Please note that, instead of using a round crystal as a starting point, I used a rondelle I had already at home. Also, I threaded some bugle beads on the threads connecting the points, thus giving more stability and extra sparkle to the ornament, which is to be hanged on a Christmas tree. Provided that the cats of the person who got this ornament would be so kind as to allow that, of course!

Account piratato - pirated account

If some of you have, by any chance, read two posts (which have been promptly erased) with the title "mikron13", do not consider them.  An old and almost unused e-mail account of mine must have been hacked and some spam has been sent to all the contacts in the address book, including the special e-mail address I use to instantly post in this blog.

Annika de Groot's "Reynard's leafy necklace"

Another work I managed to complete during Xmas holidays. To be precise, that's exactly the present for my best friend, of course to be matched with the "little owls" earrings. The project has been adapted from Annika de Groot's original one "Reynard's leafy necklace", taken from her book Micro-Macrame: 30 Beaded Designs for Jewelery Using Crystals and Cords. The asimmetric clasp is my idea but it still doesn't fully convince me.

BELIEVE SHOP post promozionale - Introducing BELIEVE SHOP

Buongiorno a tutte!

Hello everybody!

Don't worry, it's business as usual here. As a matter of fact, I've been quite busy over the Christmas holidays, not only because I managed to scrape 3 weeks off, but also because I moved to my Mom's place (together with The Little Precise One, Jr.) for one and a half months while we had our kitchen refurbished. Problem is, I don't have time to update the blog now that I went back to my place and resumed working full time!
So, for now, be content with this brief ad, whoops, post!

Do you remember my colleague Roberta and her creative sewing blog? I had posted about it here.

Well, I have great news: Roberta has opened her shop! You can visit Believe Shop by clicking on this link:
